Surviving Heartbreak Hell

It's been months since your breakup but you're still stuck in bed grieving over your lost love. You couldn't eat (or stop eating), sleep or work because he's all you could ever think of. You keep repeating your heartbreak mantra, "Why did he leave me...what did I do?" as you succumb to a series of hysterical crying fits. You’re officially a victim of a broken heart.

So how do you smart from a brush-off? Here are some tips to help you survive heartbreak hell.

Pet Pillow

1. Lose it

Moan. Sob. Let it all hang out. Rid yourself of all-consuming anger and vent every ounce of vitriol in your system. Allow yourself a good wallow. Take a pillow and pretend it was him and do all with it the way you'd want to get back at him. Throw all his letters and photos away. Call your friends and tell them your heartaches for the 20th time. Grieve your heart out on a guy who was no best than a rotten carcass.

2. Accept what you can't change

So, it's over. This may be hard to swallow but the reality is it's all over and there's nothing you can do about it. You are left without a option but to believe and accept it. Remember, acceptance is the key to healing.

3. Work It Out

Put your inescapable attitude at work and head to the gym for some 30-minute work out a day. Rehearsal won't only sweep the mopey mood away but it will also make you feel and look good as it helps pump out endorphins, the body's natural chemicals that make you feel strong and oozing with sex appeal.

4. Aromatherapy for the heart

Aromatherapy is believed to lift depression and soothe irritable nerves. If you haven't tried it, you should try it now as it works wonders not just to your body but also to your mind and spirit. Here's a quick recipe: Fill a 10-ounce bottle of organic vegetable oil with 9 drops of lavender oil, 15 drops of sandalwood oil, 4 drops of rose essential oil and 10 drops of warm water. Dispense 10 drops of the blend to a warm bath and you're ready to soak!

5. Put a front if necessary

You may still be experiencing emotional turmoil inside but if you stay confined within the four walls of your room chances are you'll feel even more miserable. Get out and show the world that you're not an emotional wreck. Crack a smile and flash those pearly whites. At first, you may find it awkward putting on a face but soon sufficient you'd come to be so good at it you'd be doing it for real, without even noticing it yourself.

6. Adopt a pet

Need some lovin'? Get a pet. Pets aren't only cuddly and affectionate but are also a good diversion of your time and focus. Sure you crave human affection but unlike humans, your pet can't talk so the chances of getting yourself hurt are slim, at least not emotionally.

7. Close the door

Don't be a fool for love. If he keeps calling you to ask for an additional one opportunity or to tell you that he has someone new but wants to stay as friends, don't bite. You won't only be allowing yourself to fall in love with him again but you're also production yourself believe subconsciously that there's something left in him for you when the truth is, there's none. False hopes mean nothing but emotional boo-boos.

8. Get busy

Discover things you love to do that you weren't able to witness because he didn't approve of them when you were still together. Agenda night-outs with friends and engage in activities you haven't done before. With so many things to occupy your mind, you'd be so busy to even think about your heartbreak.

9. Move on

An end of a relationship doesn't mean an end of you. You don't need a man to make you feel like a real woman. If he can't see what's gorgeous and extra about you, what kind of man is he? Not someone worth your time, it's clear. Not someone who deserves you either.

Breakups can be very painful and tormenting. Sometimes, it even makes us feel like dying. Funny how we feel so hedonistically fabulous when we are in love then end up feeling gruesomely frightful after a breakup. Nevertheless, it's a risk that we all have to take. While there's promise in loving, there are no guarantees. So live and love. Get hurt and love again. After all, there's no joy without pain and no bliss without hell.

How to production Your Own Homemade Pet Bed and What Materials Should You Us

Even though all dogs deserve a dog bed, not everyone can afford to buy one. Should you find yourself in that position, all hope is not lost, you can make your own pet bed right there at home!

There are a few things that you should think about before you get started on making your dog a bed. Such as, where your going to put the bed, the size of your dog, what atmosphere your in, the type of material that you have to make the bed out of, does your dog need the bed quickly, and how thick your going to make it.

Pet Pillow

Where are you going to put the bed?

There are two basic types of pet beds, one for inside and one for outside.

The indoor version are the types that you will find inside a home in locations like a corner, in a dog create, near the foot of the bed, or other such dog exact location. Before you ever get started on making your pet a bed you will need to think about where your planning on putting it. If you do it just right you can make a pet bed that will be a convention fit to a angle or other area in your home.

The exterior version are the type that you can put in a kennel, near your door, in a dog run or any other location that you would like to have your pets bed at.

How big is your dog?

Keep in mind that your dog will need room on its bed, just like you do. A big dog will need a big bed. In fact that's just one of the reasons why dog bed can get so expensive, the bigger the bed the bigger the cost. If you need things to make your pet bed out of you can check out thrift market for things like old recliners, couches, and even mattresses and for a good price too. After you have the size of the bed figured out then you can pick up the materials that you will need. Don't forget to take a determination of your dog, since your dog will sleeping on the bed I propose that you take your measurements while its laying down asleep. Remember that making a bed that's a bit too big will be good than making one that is too small.

What atmosphere do you live in?

Keep in mind that if you are in a cold atmosphere that you might want to make a thick and heavy dog bed to help keep your pet warm. You see, the dog bed will be on the floor or the ground and heat rises, that means that your dog could be laying in a very cold place.

Of procedure if you are in a warmer atmosphere then you may find that fleas are an issue. If that is the case then you should think about making your pet bed from Pvc that is covered in canvas or mesh material to help keep the flea issue down.

What type of material do you have to make the bed out of?

There are many things that you might find laying nearby your home, in your garage or even in a thrift store that you can make your pet bed out of. These are going to be things like old couches, recliners, sleeping bags, quilts, pillows and other such items. The possibilities are well endless and once you start to think about it you will find all sorts of things that you can make your pet bed out of! In fact if you happen to have an old love seat you can naturally put a sheet over it and you have a pet bed for a large dog! Of procedure that will take up some room but it will work. You can generate an exterior cot by putting together a frame made from Pvc and the bed can be made of a canvas like material!

Does your dog need the bed quickly?

Should you find yourself in a situation where you need a pet bed right away and you don't well have time to make whatever you can always take an old blanket and fold it up and put it on the floor for the dog. If you happen to have a piece of foam laying nearby you can put that in in the middle of the folds of the blanket to give it more cushion. You can also use carpeting, sleeping bags, towels and other such items. In a pinch you can put a sheet over these things so that you can clean it once in a while until you get a moment to make a good bed.

How thick are you going to make the bed?

When your mental about how thick to make your pet bed keep in mind what type of atmosphere you live in and where your going to put it. If your making a bed for an older dog you may want to make the bed thicker than you commonly would to help ease their pains. Its recommend that you use at least seven inches of foam for a allowable orthopedic bed.

Don't Get Angry at Your Dog - It's naturally Anxiousness

Have you ever returned home to find that your dog has chewed on your sofa pillows, torn down your drapes, or left you a "present" on your carpet? You normally assume that your dog is acting out because you left them. That they are revealing anger and resentment - but that isn't the case.

Your dog is probably acting on feelings of fear and distress. Pets exhibit their feelings in different ways but it is very base for destruction to be one of their outlets. Other ways dogs disclose their anxiety contain aggression and vocalization.

Pet Pillow

Try to find patience with your pet instead of getting upset with them. Their feelings may be difficult for you to comprehend as it isn't logical, but remember they are just dogs and are beyond base sense. But their fear is very valid to them.

There are ways you can help to calm your dog's anxiety. First, do not scold your dog for his behavior. Scolding may cause supplementary anxiety making the situation go from bad to worse.

Don't soothe and reassure your dog. That would be feeding into their phobia or fear. Use a cheerful attitude and act normally. Even try to entertain your dog with play and interaction.

If the opportunity that causes the anxiety is rare - for instance a fear of fireworks, then medication may be the answer. Visit your vets office and ask them about medication. Some dogs are so frightened of fireworks and thunderstorms, they have been known to die from heart attacks.

Dog display their anxiety in different ways. Some are more subtle than others. Subtle signs contain licking of the lips, repeated yawning, avoiding eye feel and panting. These behaviors are general in inevitable scenarios. When these behaviors are combined or are displayed for no apparent reason, your dog may be anxious. For example, if your dog has not exerted itself but it is panting hard, it may be a sign of anxiety.

More inevitable signs contain lowering of their head, tucking their tail in in the middle of their legs, panting, salivating, pacing, and laying their ears against their head.

Dogs will often show complicated symptoms. If the surmise for their distress does not disappear, their signs may shift from the subtle to the more obvious.

The owner should be most customary with their dog's behavior and should be able to pick up on the assorted signs as well as being able to distinguish them in the middle of typical behaviors and a trait brought on by anxiety.

If at all possible, avoid the situation causing the problem. For instance, if your pet gets anxious when new habitancy come over, then confine them to their kennel or other secluded area. Place them in an area where they feel acquire and safe. Leaving your dog with some sort of chew toy or bone snack is a good recipe of distracting the dog's attention and may help alleviate their tension. Find the best ways to help your dog straight through trial and error.

Realistic Animal Activism

Since I first learned as a young child that animals were harmed and killed (and not just for primary food) I believed strongly in animal activism and voiced my opinions. In junior high school the only meat I ate was poultry and I refused to buy shoes or clothes with leather as my personal statement. Pretty much every single choose-your-topic school report, term paper or investigate task from junior high straight through college was animal linked (mostly elephants); my first historical outline task in 6th grade was on Rachel Carson, author of Silent Spring. Today I'm not much different: I eat fish and sometimes poultry (especially when it's going to give my mom an aneurism if I snub her Thanksgiving turkey), but I limit my intake to rare opening and sustainable species as much as possible, I buy cruelty-free personal products and am enduringly learning, researching and changing my habits to be sustainable, animal-friendly and conscience clean whenever I have a choice.

There's a big, fat line I draw when it comes to animal activism: veganism and Peta. These two concepts do not jive with animal proprietary in the best way potential and can be very misleading and hypocritical, giving a bad name to the movement as a whole. I respect those who are vegan and those who fight for animal rights, but I will respect them a whole lot less if they try to force their opinions and lifestyle on me. As a result, I try to be aware of how my choices affect others: should person ask about my diet I'll freely justify why I select to eat or not eat determined foods, but I'm not the type of person to criticize someone's club sandwich. Further, when someone's going to throw away their half-eaten plate of carne asada nachos and I'm hungry I'll take it off their hands (did that once and it reaffirmed I just don't like beef).

Pet Pillow

Veganism: I get veganism. Supposedly it's got a lot of benefits and super delicious food can be vegan (I accidentally make vegan dishes frequently), but I could never adopt the lifestyle, partially because I don't want to be that hipster or pretentious and mostly because I just love cheese. There's an greatest form of veganism that extends to people's pets, which is downright wrong. Citizen are omnivores, which means we eat both vegetation and animals, and can make the decision to eat more or less of one or the other. Cats and dogs, on the other hand, are strictly carnivores, which means the only vegetation they eat is whatever's in the stomachs of the animals they eat. Putting a cat or dog on an unnatural diet because it's "cruel" is just as cruel, and Citizen who do that might have their hearts in the right places but don't understand the right way to make their point.

Peta: Peta, on the same hand, so strongly advocates letting animals live their peaceful natural lives that they completely go about it in a ridiculous way. For example, Peta has purchased animals from pounds and euthanized them because they believe death is a more humane fate than suffering as pets (trapped in the cruel, cruel world of belly rubs and back yards). Peta believes my cat would be great off dead than living with clean water and her own pillow. Insane. an additional one preponderant Peta belief is that fur is wrong (you've positively seen their celebrity-studded "I'd rather go naked" campaigns), and although I agree that raising and killing animals for their skin and fur is wrong I would never throw red paint all over someone's fur coat. You know why, other than that's not how adults behave? Because those Citizen are just going to go back into the store, purchase an additional one fur coat (creating a higher demand), and likely sue Peta, forcing them to spend money on lawsuits, rather than on animals.

It seems hard to find that excellent middle ground, the one in the middle of our understanding that animals feel pain and our omnivorous institute and the one in the middle of retention our captive animals happy and wholesome and being humane to our food and wild animals. The truth is it's not positively that hard, but it is expensive. We can buy responsibly raised cows, pigs, chickens and stop buying factory farm raised animals, but most Citizen take a break from their animal activism at the supermarket. It's a option to make, but Citizen have to positively make the realistic option to plainly eat less meat (and get away from the belief that it's not a real meal if it doesn't have meat) if the cost of responsible meat is too expensive. Peta should also put their money where their mouth is and dedicate their organization to responsible meat eating, which I'm sure will net much more supporters than paint on fur.

April - Good Friend, house Member

April and her sister Spot were Walmart dogs. My house had just moved to a house in the country with a big quarter-acre fenced backyard. My children had lived in an apartment for the past year and it was time to enjoy having a dog companion to love and be loved.

While shopping at Walmart a man stood near the exit door with a litter of black lab puppies. Having two children, we took two - April and Spot. We were living in Edmond, Ok at the time. It was weeks after the horrible bombing and somehow celebrating life was on the top of our list. April and Spot were born on the day of the bombing - so these puppies had a extra in our hearts. April was named after her birth month and Spot had spots on her tongue. Other than that, they were two black labs.

Pet Pillow

Even though we had a huge backyard, April and Spot were born to roam. They would jump a 6 foot high wire fence every morning - making me late for work trying to corral them. In their daily adventures, they would bring home all types of goodies including: shoes, newspapers, and even a welcome mat as great treasure. I started putting out the treasures near our mailbox, hoping that some of our rural neighbors would recognize and reclaim their missing items. Try as I could, April would feel the need to run and be free. One night I discovered she had a scrape under her chin. Someone else trip to the vet revealed she had been hit by a car and from that day, she had a very hoarse bark - still distinctive to this day.

Fast forward, April had two sets of puppies. She was a great mother. One of the puppies, there were nine in that litter, was born with a hole in his chest. I remember calling the vet and request him for his advice. He was a kind man and said that he could make a house call the next day. The next day, I saw April had taken the puppy away from the others and it was laying motionless under her. I called the vet and he explained that in nature, the mom dog will mercifully smother the pup if it is suffering. But she treated her other pups with loving care.

One day April came in the house and I could tell she was sick. I called the vet and they told me they could do exploratory surgery on her, but keep an eye on her for 24-48 hours. I remember they even said, she may have eaten a frog. After tucking my children in bed, I took my blanket and pillow and lay down next to April in the middle of the kitchen floor. I looked into her eyes and I could see she felt safe with me there. We bonded that evening, she knew I was there for her. Within a merge days, she was back to her good ole self, jumping fences and scrambling into my arms if she heard thunder. I guess it wasn't a frog.

I moved to Houston and could not take the dogs with me, so my mom who lived in Arkansas in the country welcomed them. April and Spot became farm dogs, living in the house, but with the free roam of acres of ranch land. April loved rolling in cowpies and laying belly deep in flowing spring on hot summer days. Later my mom would move into a diminutive hamlet, Western Grove. She built a fence to keep April corralled behind her house, but April was older and undoubtedly fat due to my mom over-feeding her, she was no longer jumping fences.

I would visit my mom annually and over the years, April became my mother's trusted companion and guardian. She outlived Spot. With her hoarse bark, no one dared to enter the house. April lived amicably with Morris (the house cat that lived to the ripe old age of 25) and a merge other kittens. She befriended the cats. I remember feeling sorry for April, who lived in the house, never undoubtedly going covering and not having Someone else dog to report with.

I would tell her each time I visited that I wished she would come live with me again. I think she understood. When my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer in Dec 2008, I loaded my mom into my Suv and moved her into my home. April and my son Elliott drove back to Houston in my mother's old truck. April became our dog again. One of my mother's last visitors was April. She patiently stood near mother's bed and wagged her tail when mom spoke.

When my mom passed in January 2009, April became our last relationship to my mother. She is now the matriarch of our dog family. We have three Yorkies who all get along with April.

In the past two years, April has lost her sight, she doesn't hear too well and her sense of smell is not there, but when you pet her, she wags her tail. She always seems to find us and will sleep in the same room I am in. I look at April now, she is no longer jumping six foot fences, or having puppies, but she is still a guardian, friend and revered member of our family.

She is here until she decides it is time for her to move on. She has been here for us, we are here for her. April has taught me so many life lessons in sixteen years, but the best is unconditional love.

Two Tips to Remember When choosing a New Dog Bed

Dogs like citizen tend to sleep in the same place when they can, they like to stretch out or curl up in a place that is customary to them, my Labrador likes to circle colse to and make a nest from the blankets and pillows that make up her bed, but just like all citizen sleep in distinct positions so do all dogs, that is why having the right dog bed for them is important.

The bed you choose will depend on distinct things, the size of your dog, the allocation you have to spend, how your dog sleeps and where you are going to keep the bed.

Pet Pillow

It might sound confident but you will be amazed how many owners do not take the size of there dog, or at least the size the puppy will grow to come to be in to catalogue when buying the bed, you need to make sure that there is sufficient room for your dog to sleep in it now, and unless you wish to buy a new bed every few months is it going to be big sufficient for when your dog grows

How much you spend on the dogs bed is up to you, there is nothing wrong with a box that you add blankets to as long as it is big sufficient and comfortable that is good enough. Having said that I know of citizen who have had handmade dog beds fitted into the home furnishings. I use a plastic dog bed with a base blanket, a large pillow that fits in the lowest of the bed a smaller second pillow and a blanket that the dog can move colse to so she can make her bed as she wants it.

So when you buy your new dog bed think of these points, the relax of your dog should be your main priority.

Allergies and Asthma in Children - 7 Tips For Drug-Free Allergy Relief

Babies and young children whose immune systems are not yet established are particularly vulnerable to allergies, and also to the side-effects of anti-allergy drugs and hazardous chemicals. Habit exposure to allergens in your home can lead to persisting asthma if left unchecked. There is a mass of evidence that asthma and allergic reactions can be prevented by eliminating the main triggers. Once these triggers have been eliminated, the next step in a drug-free arrival is to improve the immune principles though the use of harmless, plainly occurring nutrients in correct doses and proportions.

First, here are 7 tips for removing allergens and other hazards from your home:

Pet Pillow

1. Rid your home of dust mites. Turn the relative humidity and climatic characteristic of your home. Holding relative humidity below 50% by means of mechanical ventilation with a heat recovery unit is proven to greatly sacrifice dust mite population. Washing all your bedding weekly at 60 degrees Celsius or 130 degrees Fahrenheit and drying in a hot dryer will kill dust mites living there. Dry cleaning quilts and blankets weekly may also be necessary.

2. Avoid toxic chemicals such as organophosphates found in pesticides and insecticides, wood treatments, flea and tick treatments, flame retardants, mosquito sprays and lice shampoos. They kill insects by disrupting their brains and nervous systems but there is serious concern that they can also be harmful to humans and pets, so don't introduce a inherent new hazard into your home in your attempt to eliminate existing problems.

3. Avoid toluene-laced fragrances such as those found in perfumes, air-fresheners, floor covering cleaning fluids, furniture wax, car-tires, plastic garbage bags, inks, hair gel, hair spray and cat litter. Toxicological investigate has shown that perfume used in cat litter can cause asthma in humans. The safest procedure is to avoid any goods with added fragrance.

4. Cockroaches are a problem because dead roaches and droppings yield a known allergen which collects in house dust and can persist in the home even months after an infestation has been eradicated. To help forestall cockroach invasion, remove sources of moisture and damp such as leaky pipes and condensation, keep all floors and kitchen surfaces free of crumbs, food scraps, spillages etc.

5. Eliminate mold in bathrooms, kitchens and basements, which are known asthma and allergy triggers. Mold can also grow on foam pillows where moisture from perspiration accumulates. Enclose foam pillow in air-tight covers, wash weekly and replace annually. Usually check houseplants for mold growth. Plants may have to be kept outside.

6. Airborne Particulates, cigarette and wood smoke along with all classes of airborne pollution are known to contribute to increased incidence of asthma. Use Hepa air cleaners nearby the home. Hepa (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters will eliminate pollens and animal dander. Using a Hepa vacuum cleaner and steam cleaning rugs and cushion Usually can also help to eliminate dust mites. Remember to close windows on days when outdoor pollution levels are known to be high.

7. Food allergies can cause asthma. Noted tasteless food allergens are milk, egg, peanuts, fish, shellfish, soy and wheat. Vigilance is required to identify foods which yield reactions. Chocolate allergy has been related with cockroach protein contaminants in cocoa beans. Fresh fruit and vegetables may also bear traces of organophosphates as discussed above, and should be washed wholly before eating.

Removing allergy triggers wherever inherent will significantly sacrifice incidence of allergic reactions, but in the long term, the use of powerful, natural products to boost your child's immune principles is the safest way to protect them for life.

Summer is meant to be a great time to enjoy your kids and reconnect in-between school years. Unfortunately, many Moms feel overwhelmed with trying to find ways to entertain their children day in and day out-for months. No more stressing needed! I have come up with 25 tips to help Moms enjoy the summer months with their kids. Some involve you and some are ways you can let your children entertain themselves. All are awesome, fun and a great opening to keep the kids busy in the summer months. I have tried to keep frugal in mind as well!

Ok, on to the sanity tips...

Pet Pillow

25 Summer Fun Tips to Help Moms create house Bonding Time

1. Sidewalk Fun. If you have a sidewalk, driveway or other spot on your asset that the kids can use, then this is a great tip. Let them make art. They can use chalk, sidewalk paint, soap, or any other washable item that can get the job done. Children love to be creative, and this is a great way not only to get their creative juices flowing, it will also get them out of the house!

2. Make a photograph Book. This is a great way to join reasoning into the summer. Select a recent house event, vacation, whatever-and have them create a photograph book of the event. Then, have them "read" the book to you.

3. Frosty Tummy Yummies. My kids Love to be in the kitchen with me. Summer is a great time to get creative with Frosty treats. You do not need any fancy Popsicle makers either. Use an ice tray. You will need yogurt, juice, fruit, and other wholesome tidbits for this project. Let the children make their own concoctions. Help them pour them into whatever molds you have. Frost and enjoy the tastings!

4. Park Day. Pack a picnic lunch and head out to a local park. I propose morning hours for less heat. Lather up the kids with sunblock and let them run around. Plan some activities our there too-Frisbee, catch, tag, etc. Eat some lunch and head home. These are the days your kids will remember for a lifetime.

5. Day Trip. Do some research. See what is within 1-2 hours from your home that would be affordable and captivating to your family. Plan it. Do it. One day. Lifetime of memories.

6. Beach Day. Need I say more?

7. house building Project. Nothing is more bonding then Doing something together-as a family. Make something together. A few ideas; tree house, fort, shelf, cat tree, scratching post, dog house, furniture, doll house, etc. Sky's the limit with this one. Just be safe, and make sure there is adult administration for the whole project.

8. Reading. Read to your kids as often as potential and have them read to you. Read, read, read.

9. Learn Something New. Pick something that would be doable for you and your kids to learn together, and get busy learning. This is a great way to enrich both of your lives And make the most of time you have.

10. Start a Hobby. This is a Great way to bond with your kids. Some hobby ideas: knitting, scrap booking, painting, jewelry making, soap making, puzzles, etc. No matter the hobby, bonding is determined and you will also have gorgeous creations you made together along with lifetime memories.

11. Water Fun. Let's face it, summer can be brutally hot-especially if you live in warmer climates. Water makes summer more fun! Fill up a toddler pool and let your puny ones enjoy the cool water (Always supervise children colse to water!), have a splash contest, turn on the hose, have a water balloon war-or tossing competition. Want to save on water? Let the kids play in the sprinklers when you need to water your grass. It's a win win.

12. Grow Something. Plant a tree, grow an herb garden, plant some flowers or start a vegetable garden.

13. house Charades Night. Program a night that you will play charades. Do not worry about technical rules if you have puny ones. Acting out is fun enough. The guessing is a blast as well. I made my own age acceptable topics. I would tear strips of paper and write words on them like; happy, bloated, elephant, growing, etc. Then throw them in a basket and we would pick one and act it out. Simple. Fun. Free.

14. Let the "Beatings" Begin. This is a house tradition in our home. Daddy gets daily "beatings" from the kids. I (Mom) will "call for the beatings" to begin and the kids will assault daddy with a tickle fest. They will tickle him until I call them off. Lol! It is a lot of fun and the kids get to have some not-so-rough-housing time with daddy! Note: you can do this as a family, just the kids, Mom, etc. Just set rules of no hitting and keep watch so it does not get out of hand.

15. Pet Fun. Tell the kids to play with the house dog/cat (if you have one), or walk the dog. Get them complicated with caring for the house pets as well-feeding, bathing, etc.

16. Target Walk. We have an additional one inexpensive tradition. When we have no idea what to do, we take a trip to our local Target. We walk colse to the back side and end aisles of the store and look at all of their clearance items. We use it as an opening to get things we need as well. However, we have left with not one item many times. If the kids are good, they May get a treat from the dollar section. However, not always, but when it's doable we do. Believe it or not-they love our Target walks. It is our puny thing as a family.

17. house Walk. Estimate 16 is what we do on especially hot days-all year round really. However, we also go on house walks colse to the neighborhood. It is a slow and relaxing walk and a great opening to talk.

18. Photo Shoot. Have your kids play dress up while you play photographer. They will feel like they are the center of attention and you will have pictures to enjoy for a lifetime.

19. Scrapbook. After you are all done with Estimate 18, get the pics industrialized and make a scrapbook together. Of course, scrap-booking is a great way to have fun and bond with your kids. Pick a recent house event or vacation and create a scrapbook. You will not only have the day recorded for years of hereafter enjoyment, you will have a remarkable time creating it with your children.

20. Get your house photograph Done. Why not do this in the summer months? With all the free time, it is an additional one day to use up doing something as a family.

21. Fast Food. This is a great tip for Moms with younger children. Grab some yummy lunch at a fast food bistro that has a "play place", and let the puny ones burn some energy. It is air conditioned for Mom and a great way for them to burn some energy. This works for any fast food chain with a play place for kids.

22. Pillow Fight. This is a lot of fun. You just need to make sure you set rules and are careful with younger ones. It is an additional one free way to burn vigor and keep the kids moving.

23. house Scavenger Hunt. Everyone must find an item for every letter of the alphabet. So, they find an item that starts with A, then B, then C and so on. You can have a prize box for winners. Everyone wins-but whoever is first place get first choice, second next, and so on.

24. Mad Libs. This is loads of fun. You can do this while relaxing in the house, driving (of policy someone who is Not driving should be writer. Lol) or any time. It is an easy way to have a great time with the family.

25. Garage Sale. This is not only a great way to make some extra money, if you do it as a family, it can be an additional one bonding experience. Plan it and do it from start to finish-as a family. Get the kids complicated by having them go through their rooms for items to sell, set up and even sign making. All ages can help out with this one.

I hope these 25 tips get the juices flowing. We only have a puny time with our kids-we need to take any and every opening we can to bond and enjoy them!

Have an Awesome summer with your kids, Moms!

Golden Retriever Puppies - Although Great For Warm Embrace, Is This the Right Puppy For You?

There's no other great idea to warm your cold nights, but with a warm cuddle you can give your Golden Retriever Puppies. The puppies' hair is so soft at this age; it will pass for a good night pillow.

There is no ask to how spectacular, a Golden Retriever is when talking about dog breeds. They are friendly, loyal, devoted, trusting, welcoming, highly intellectual, patient, loving, beautiful, and the long list goes on and on. This breed may deem to be very ideal, but they are not powerful for everyone. There are many things you should know before you resolve to adopt Golden Retrievers.

Pet Pillow

Once you bring the puppies into your home, they immediately come to be a member of your house and need to be treated with utmost ability of care and love. This is a lifetime commitment that you share with these dogs for the rest of their stay. Dogs of this class have a relatively shorter life span, so it is just rightful to give them what they truly deserve within 10 to 12 years of their existence.

While every breed is distinct and each dog is unique, in normal a exact breed shares safe bet coarse recognizable unique traits. The Retriever is a sporting strain who needs quarterly practice and corporal training. The breed matures at a snail's pace and can flash a puppy-like form and features until the age of three, four or even at five years old. A lot of them have a reasonably high power level. These power levels have to be spent in a safe bet manner like playing and dog training.

If you live in an apartment, condominium or a bachelor's pad, or are not the active type of person, this may not be the right breed for you. The Retriever is determined to be a medium-sized dog, ranging in height from 24 to 26 inches. Mean weight is believed to be at almost 65 to 75 pounds; with females slightly smaller and lighter. The Golden Retriever has a relatively happy tail and shows emotions through wagging of tails.

This breed thrives and loves human companionship. They do not do well when left alone for so many hours. They have the tendency to invent destructive characteristics as they seek for attention. If you are going to be away from home for long periods of time, your puppy may suffer from divorce anxiety. Thus, this is maybe not the right breed for you.

What is very comforting to know is that there is already dog breed information that population or inherent pet owners could read and get introductory recommendation. A visit to the veterinarian for some solid decision manufacture will soon follow. Furthermore, you can also take personality tests that will match your attitude and lifestyle with the right breed for you. These activities may look so time consuming, but Golden Retriever puppies are worth every particular tick of the clock, as they will forever be at your side, no matter what.

Funny Ferret Facts

Ferrets have the most flexible skeletons that will let them squeeze into very tiny openings that you will all the time wonder, "He went straight through that hole?" They can fit in one inch holes and spaces - under the cabinets, holes in walls and furniture, under and behind appliances, straight through window frames, vents, mail boxes, pet doors, fireplace grates, screens, even dampers. Make sure that you patch holes with duct tape until something sturdy can constantly block off the hole. Funny fact about ferrets is that, they can squeeze In, but they could not just get Out!

Ferrets love to climb to chairs, couches, and do their scratching on the stuffing of pillows and couches, then minutes later they are already sleeping. Recliners are prominent death causes of ferrets because they can crawl inside and get crushed by the recliner. Best not to have these in the house; but if you do, keep it away from a curious ferret. Keep it upright at all times when you are not using it. Also keep stereos and sound systems off and out of reach, and never use a rocking chair while they are face the cage playing and exploring their way around. Remember that in the eyes of a ferret, all is a toy.

Pet Pillow

Turn off all electrical appliances as these may cause them galvanic shocks. Make sure they do not have access to wires, insulation, motors, fan blades, and any curious parts. They may find these as wonderful toys and mobile things to ride on, and eventually get into the accident.

Another funny fact about ferrets is that, they are just too smart to open cabinet and refrigerator doors once they learn how to. That is how smart ferrets are. They like to explore just about whatever and learn their way straight through it. They also love playing with cable wires and electrical wires, so make sure they are far from the ferrets reach. Even exposed outlets are toys for ferrets so make sure these are all covered.

Never allow them access to laundry areas. There are ferrets who would just dive into an operating washer with all the water, clothes, and bubbles, so make sure these are out of reach too. Plastic bags in the kitchen are ample fun and adventure filled toys for ferrets as well. Make sure that you supervise your ferret when playing with plastic bags since this may cause suffocation.

Remove toxic chemicals away from the ferret his reach as well. Ferrets would just dive into whatever deep, so include proofing on toilets as well, keep them covered, make sure that they wood not reach the soap since this is harmful for them too.

Ferrets love to push their way into a toilet paper tube, so be right to put these out of reach.
Ferrets do not have the capability to land into their feet when they fall. Do not give them access to high places. It may look funny, but perilous for your wonderful pets. Finally, ferrets love kissing especially when paired to other ferret, regardless of the gender. It may appear as kissing to humans but really, they are part of the natural grooming process instinctive to ferrets.

How to originate an Altar for Your Pet

Gone never needs to mean forgotten. Intriguing on in spirit does not mean Intriguing on from our hearts. Our pets give us so much love, how can we just let go? We need to honor our love. We need to honor the love that our pets gave us. This wonderful, unconditional, "always there" love.

There are so many ways to remember our pets. One of the most personal ways we can remember them is with an altar that we have created ourselves. With our own stories. With our own memories.

Pet Pillow

There is no right or wrong way to originate an altar. It is simply a place to regain memories. First, clear a space on a table, mantle, bookshelf, or even find a place out in the yard in his or her beloved ray of sunshine. Then, just go with your heart. regain those things that hold a memory of your pet or those things that recite your pet.

Some ideas:

- A framed photograph of your dog.

- A candle to burn in his or her honor.

- A vase to hold fresh or dried flowers.

- If you have their ashes, an urn. You can buy one, or decorate your own.

- A poem you or your children have written.

- A jewelry box to hold small items.

- A small shelf or actual altar on which to place items (you can buy altars from most new age stores, or build your own).

- Use his or her bowl to hold all the items.

- What about the blankets and beds? have you belief of production a memorial quilt? Cut out some pieces of fabric and sew them together. Or find a pillow and just sew a bit of the fabric onto it. Maybe embroidering your pet's name under it.

- You can buy a shadow box and put collars, pictures, leashes, toys and more in there. Try going to craft market and see what they have.

- Make a pet memorial scrapbook. All your beloved pictures, some poems or stories of your pet's antics. Use the collar, tags, blanket to decorate whether inside or on the cover.

These are just ideas to get you started. Let your heart move you. Do what feels right. Be creative. Let your kids help. They will come up with some surprisingly wonderful ideas. Just remember that it does not have to be perfect. All it has to do is express your love, your memories and the spirit of your pet will shine through. Always.

Why You Can't See Dust Mites in Beds

Beds are the prime breeding grounds for dust mites in the home. Although you can't see dust mites in beds, they are there in the mattress and the pillow. They burrow down into the layers and cause allergies. Carpets are someone else area where dust mites can be found as well as upholstered furniture, rugs, cushions and stuffed toys.

Dust mites are minuscule bugs that do not cause any harm to citizen by biting or spreading disease. However, they can cause allergic reactions that mimic the flu or symptoms of a head cold. They are the prominent cause of asthma and do exasperate the problem if a resident of the home does have asthma. The presuppose that they are found in beds is that they live on skin cells that come off the human body, which ordinarily occurs in bed. They can live on 1.3 ounces of dead skin for week.

Pet Pillow

There could be as many as 10,000 mites living in one mattress. When you reconsider that the life span of one female mite is ten weeks and during the last five weeks of that life she can lay up to 200 eggs, it doesn't take long for them to accumulate. Bouncing on the mattress or beating it will issue some of them, but it only releases them into the air. They will then float in the air before advent to rest in someone else cozy location. Pillows, too, can contain thousands of mites and fluffing the pillows does the same thing.

Experts propose that up to 105 of the weight of a pillow or mattress could be dust mites. This means there could ne millions of them in a typical bedroom. The amount of food for the mites increases if you allow pets on the bed because the dander from pets is also food for the mites. It is not the dust mites themselves that cause the allergic reaction, but the waste they produce. This waste and the food they leave behind contain a fungus to which humans are allergic.

Some of the symptoms of an allergic reaction to dust mites include:

* Hay fever

* Watery eyes

* Runny nose

* Itching

* Sneezing

* Asthma

* mystery breathing

* Eczema in infants

These symptoms cane be made worse if you have poor ventilation in the bedroom and if the humidity level is high. This is why doctors propose that you have a dehumidifier in your home to lower the level of humidity below 50%. Mites cannot survive in these lower levels.

Sunlight is someone else thing that will help you get rid of dust mites. Although it may go against your rules of housekeeping, there is nothing wrong with laying your mattress out in the sun or development sure it is in direct sunlight with the bedding removed. You can place the rugs outdoors on the rail of the patio or on the clothesline on a nice sunny day. Bedding should be washed in hot water at least once a week and all upholstered surfaces should be vacuumed once a week. Stuffed toys in a child's room are also a haven for mites, so you should remove them.

Relocation - Relocation Like a Pro

Moving is one of the more stressful events in an individual's life. In a study performed by the University of Birmingham and agency of Occupational Medicine, it was considered that challenging Homes is the 32nd most stressful event in a person's life. Top items were death of a spouse, jail sentence and an immediate family member committing suicide. Ok, challenging is less stressful than these

When making a cross-country move, or relocating, there are some guidelines to make it a bit less stressful. Having moved myself (and family) many times either in the troops cross-country or internationally, there are some tips I've learned.

Pet Pillow

Be Organized - Get a spiral notebook and a folder. During the move you want all notes and to-dos in an easy location. If you need phone numbers at a perceive they should be in the notebook either it be movers, utility companies or time to come or ex-employers.

Plan Ahead - In our notebook, lay out tasks segmented by leaving home, the move and time to come home. As you go through your daily life weeks before the move write down everything you think of. The more tasks/items are written down, the less they need to be stressed about.

Leaving Home items including disconnecting utilities and leaving forwarding addresses for deposits, notifying neighbors and friends of new addresses/emails, forwarding mail at the post office and a final home cleanup, packing standard paperwork and personal items. Other items contain notifying teachers or daycare providers and contacting your church.

Move items contain having sufficient food for any pets, having traveling cash and hotels (assuming you driving in any place substantially). This is precisely the easiest part. time to come Home tasks including lining up housing, utilities, car insurance, car tags, looking the grocery market and new churches.

I cannot stress sufficient how being organized and writing everything down can minimize your stress level.

Sense of humor - other big recommendation is to have a sense of humor. Something is bound to go wrong or be forgotten. No matter how much you've planned ahead and wrote down your lists, one key thing could be forgotten. My guidance is to put it in perspective. If married, do not add extra stress by blowing these items out of proportion. From my troops background - overcome, maintain, adapt.

Keep the family fed - Our last move was across town and it went very smoothly, albeit we were exhausted. My wife swears that one key was to keep me fed. She claims that by having a plan for dinner, although it may be fast food, kept stress down. After everybody has worked like a dog packing and unpacking, it calms nerves and patience to have food handy once those hunger pangs strike. On the same note, and retention a beverage (water or lemonade) handy alleviates the temptation for tempers to flare when you've been pushed to the limits.

Patience - If you ever move with children, comprehend that a move is incredibly exciting. They are bound to be more wound up than normal. A move is an challenging adventure for them. Have patience if they are chatty when you are exhausted. What has come in handy for us is a portable Dvd player. Pack a few new movies that the child will be fascinated with. Ok, do I advocate having Tv be a babysitter? No. However in the case of a stressful move, investing in looking Nemo or Benji may be worth it. Bring a pillow and beloved blanket and while you are trying to unpack let your children rest on their pillows and zone out in quiet.

Having moved many times, the ideas above are key - sense of humor, patience and society rank among the top suggestions that I can transport to whatever making a great move. Good luck!!!
